Gulmarg: Gulmarg is one of the most glorious hill resorts in Kashmir. It is located in the Baramulla Distt of Kashmir, Lovingly called the "Meadow of Flower. Gulmarg of Kashmir generally known by “gaurimarg”. Gulmarg hill resort is famous not only for its picturesque location, but also has the highest golf course in the world. It is situated at a height of 2,650 meters. This golf course is one of the major attractions of this awesome hill station. It is also known for skiing destination in winters. There is a spot on the way to Gulmarg, known as "View Point", where tourist frequently stops to admire the breathtaking sight of snow capped mountains.
Patnitop: Patnitop is a strange tourist spot of Kashmir. Patnitop lies on a plateau at a height of 2020 meters above the sea level. It is famous for its hill resorts, the fragrant pine forests and breathtaking beauty. There are many picnic spots in Patnitop, as pine forests on all sides surround it. Sonmarg: Sonmarg is just 80 km away from the Srinagar on the Srinagar-ladakh road. Sonmarg has some of the highest mountain ranges of the world. It is also known as Meadow of gold. It is a hill resort and also a base camp for those visiting Ladakh. Visit to Sindh River in sonmarg provides plenty of chance for fishing. The Krishnagar Lake also used for fishing. Sonamarg is a best place for trekking, huge number of hiking and trekking track makes sonmarg an interesting spot. Sonamarg is known for silver birch, pine trees and alpine flowers. Best time to visit Sonmarg is in summer May to September and in Winter November to February.
Pahalgam: Pahalgam is located at a distance of 95 km from Srinagar and lovingly called the "Jewel of the Lidder Valley". It is well known as most of the Hollywood shooting were done in its heart rousing valleys that truly display the beauty of the heaven on earth. There are many short walks available from Pahalgam. ShalimarShalimar Bagh, is a Mughal garden linked through a channel to the northeast of Dal Lake, on its right bank located near Srinagar city in the Jammu and Kashmir. Its other names are Shalamar Garden, Shalamar Bagh, Farah Baksh and Faiz Baksh, and the other famous shore line garden in the vicinity is Nishat Bagh. The Bagh was built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan, in 1619. The Bagh is considered the high point of Mughal horticulture. It is now public park.
Nishat Bagh Nishat Bagh is a Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close to the Srinagar city in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake. "Garden of Gladness" and "Garden of Delight."
